When considering alternative adapters, pay attention to the depth of cut on the circular saw. Some adapters, particularly those sourced from China, may reduce the cutting pass by approximately 1/2" when using a 5.0 battery. Additionally, these adapters can be extremely tight when attaching or detaching the battery.
